Canadian Parents for French

What is Canadian Parents for French (CPF)?

Canadian Parents for French (CPF) West Vancouver is our local chapter relaunched in October 2014. Parent volunteers at PJ, Sentinel and Cedardale work with educators to improve learning outcomes through authentic French learning experiences and to provide support for students and parents. These are some benefits CPF brings:

  • Sentinel-PJ After School Homework Club for intermediate students, Fall 2014.
  • Sponsorship of PJ’s Artist in Residence program for K – Gr 7, Spring 2015.
  • Artist for Kids interactive art workshops and gallery tours for PJ’s Grade 5 classes, Winter 2015.
  • Regular information updates about student enrichment opportunities, French events, web-based resources, French tutors and French language learning classes for parents.
  • A partnership with SD45 to support West Van’s New Vision for French Immersion.

These programs are only made possible by parent support.

By joining CPF for as little as $20/year, 80% of your membership fee will come back to CPF West Vancouver to be put to work in your child’s school.
