What is Ecole PJ PAC?

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is made up of all parents and guardians of students at École PJ. If you have a child at PJ, you’re already a member of the PAC!
We believe every child at PJ deserves a joyful, enriching, and well-rounded school experience for the entirety of their time as a PJ student. Our purpose is to support, encourage, and enhance the quality of education and overall well-being of all students.
PAC Executive
The PAC Executive is a group of parent volunteers who help coordinate PAC initiatives and act as a bridge between families and the school. As a PAC, we aim to:

What does the PJ PAC do?
Fundraising & Events
PJ PAC oversees a wide range of activities and committees designed to enrich the cultural and educational experience of all PJ students. Ongoing events like PJ Spirit Wear Days, Popsicle Days, and Fun Lunch run throughout the year, while special events include Jour des Crêpes, Santa’s Workshop, and Movie Matinées. We also host community events such as the Staff Appreciation Luncheon.
To make these programs possible, we fundraise throughout the year. We aim to keep the fundraising easy, efficient, and rewarding. Many of the programs mentioned above double as fundraisers (ie. Fun Lunch, Popsicle Days, and Movie Matinées). Even small actions, like purchasing from Mabel’s Labels can make a big impact.
For more information on our Fundraising activities, see PAC Fundraising.
Volunteering
We truly appreciate all the support that helps enrich our children’s school experience. While funding is required to support these programs, your time is also just as valuable. Volunteering is a meaningful way to get to know the school, teachers, staff, and fellow PJ parents.
How do I get involved?
Being involved with the PAC is a great way to meet the PJ community, make a difference, and play an active role in your child’s education. If you’re interested in getting involved, take a look at our current volunteer opportunities and let us know what catches your interest via email.
Attending PAC meetings is another great way to stay informed and connected. For meeting dates, see: PAC Meetings & Documents.
